Malcolm Wicks, Secretary of State said that he ‘considers that the report “Unlocking the Power House” makes an important contribution to the growing body of research on the deployment of microgeneration technologies and will help to inform the development of the microgeneration aspects of the Energy White Paper.’ The report is part of a recently completed 3 year project funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). The consortium consisted of Southampton University’s Sustainable Energy Research Group, the Social Policy Research Unit at Sussex University and Imperial College.
